My first dollar day with Readbud

I was not sure what to blog about and I work in 40 minutes, so I figured I would jot this down while it is fresh in my mind!

So today was the first day I earned a dollar reading and rating articles for readbud. I'll show the pic here:

Today I made $ 1.07 by reading 19 articles. So that is not to bad. While I was online browseing or cleaning I took a few minutes out of my day to sit down and read articles. I just keep checking back and articles will show up different times of the time. I was impressed by that though. My total earnings now are up to $ 6.69, I am not stopping though. I am aiming for that 50 bucks for I can be sure I get my money.

Anyhow I wanted to share that! Now I must get off to work =)

New Site: ImCrew

During some searching on GetAFreelancer I came across a website called Im Crew. The site is still in beta stage until the 1st of August.

After the 1st of August you will be able to also earn money by reading and sharing articles. You also can get 20% of referral’s revenue, from what they earn from reading and sharing articles. The site looks interesting so I figured why not, might as well see if its worth the time right?

As well you earn a $10.00 signup bonus if you signup while in Beta phase.

I was doing some research and a lot of people are asking if this program is a scam, sadly I cannot answer that, since its only in beta phase.

This is copy and pasted right off the site:

“Until the 1st of August, we are in the pre-launch stage. At the moment you can earn money by referring other users to join Imcrew - You will earn $2 for every active referral. Use your referral link to do this. After the 1.st of August You will be able to earn money by Reading and Sharing articles what we will provide to you, you will be able to earn up to $1275/month by doing this. So Copy your Referral link and give it to everyone you know- because you will be able to earn $2 for everyone you refer and also 20% of their Revenue what they get from reading and sharing articles. “

Its not asking for money, so I say why not check it out. I tried to research some payment proofs from the website but I can’t find any, I am mostly finding promotion for it, which is understandable, 2 bucks is a lot to some people.

I have signed up and I will be promoting it, but I am not going over and above either, incase it is a scam.

Sometime after they are out of their beta stage I will make a video about the site and update you on my earnings if I have any!

Alright so my old Youtube channel has some GDI Stuff on it. I no longer have an account with GDI and I wanted a different username and channel name si I made a new channel.

Doing my usual research of opportunities for making money online I found a website that pays you to read and rate articles. I signed up, read 12 articles so far and earned 55 cents.

The good news is that they pay by PayPal, but you need 50 bucks before you can withdraw funds. So me being as curious as I am, I will log in everyday and read and rate articles to see how long it takes to get to 50 bucks.

On the site they also have a “Refer A Friend” and “Affiliate program” section so when you refer someone you make 5 bucks. Although it does say you don’t get the 5 dollars until their first successful redemption.

It looks interesting and I enjoy reading/learning so it all works out. People who enjoy PTC sites might enjoy this too.

Once I learn more about the site, I will add more information. So far the navigation is nice and the articles are not to bad.

KGB, Not A Scam

I do not believe I mentioned KGB in my blog. I joined KGB around the end of April/mid April and have been working for them since. I rarely do work for them just because I don’t always have the time.

I received my first payment yesterday which makes me very happy to report this is no scam! Below this paragraph I will share a picture. I blacked out all my other account info, and circled where it shows KGB and the amount. You will notice the amount is only $35.85, def not a lot of money, again though I rarely work for KGB and I am not sure how many people can turn it into full time income anyways.

KGB pays 10 cents per researched question answered, and 5 cents for the anwsers you use already populated. I will explain KGB later on in a full review. For a now though I just wanted everyone to see that it does pay :)

More Updates On Peoplestring And Big Dollars PTC

I have not been very active with peoplestring, so my earnings are quite low. In fact I will share a screenshot of my earnings at current.

The bad news is that I have not received my Mailbox-Cashbox card in the mail yet. So I have yet to be to even start using this program that is a part of Peoplestring which does suck, it’s the biggest reason why I joined. I emailed Peoplestring about it though to see what they can do.

I have not been promoting Peoplestring much because I want to try the Cashbox-Mailbox program first and actually make some money, it will just make them more worth promoting,
you know what I mean?

So in other news as you know I reached the payout with Big Dollars PTC. I am 95% sure I will not get the money but I still log in a couple times a week to remain active anyways. I won’t be a fully active member with them unless I receive that 500$

So I won’t be posting much about either of this website’s at this time. After I get my Cashbox card I will post more about that program and Big Dollars PTC is sketchy so I may not post about them anymore at all.

Ah well, we live and learn, right =)

Big Dollars PTC, Scam Or Not?

I got a email recently from one of my readers. He wanted to know if Big Dollars PTC is a scam or not. Well I researched quite a bit, I can’t find any info that says anyone actually has got paid from this site.

This site claims to pay $5 - $10 for clicking ads, $10 to read emails, $5 - 10 for reading ads. Redemption starts at $500.

I think just from those numbers that the website is probably a scam, but the only one way to know for sure is to signup myself.

The TOS is a bit sketchy to, for instance:

“Payouts
This is not a site that pays cash all earnings is for advertising purposes. Requesting payout is violation of terms and can lead to termination and is at minimum a donation to the site. “

Hmmmmmmmmm?????????? Yeah well that is a bit, wtf? Not to sure what to make of this. It also says if you are inactive for 20 days your earnings will be cleared, I can understand that I suppose. But the payout thing they have listed is rather confusing.

As far as I can tell you can’t even use their Help Center, I could be wrong, but I can’t....

Within 2 days I reached the $500 dollar payout limit. So today I have requested payment. I am very confident that this site is a scam and I won’t get a penny, but I figured I would try it out, since one of my readers feels that it’s a scam too.

It has been a very long time since I have posted anything to this blog, wow! I feel bad about it. To be honest though my offline job was getting to the point that I was working almost everyday so it made it hard to bother keeping up with this blog...

I am hoping to start posting again though. A lot of stuff has happened since I last posted, mainly stuff that shouldn’t probably be wrote on here but I am going to write it anyways. December was a bad month for me, my grandfather died and my boyfriend was laid off from his job, so now its just me working.

I have learned a lot about working at home, and affiliate marketing but not enough to really make any money. This is mostly my fault since I am not consistent in what I do, leaving for 3 months then coming back is bad, but its just the way it has been for me.

Anyhow my hours are very random at my work so sometimes I have more free time, other times I don’t, I would like to start posting again, its been to long.

Since I came back I joined Peoplestring, some of you may have heard of it, to try and make some money.

Peoplestring is a social networking website. I signed up for the obvious reason, to try and make some extra cash, I don’t expect to get rich from it of course.

I have seen some videos on Youtube where people have made a lot of money with it, but I seriously don’t expect to make a huge amount.

I am going to acctually show a video in here just to show potential earnings:

That video was for the Mailbox - Cashbox program, there are other ways to earn some money on the website though, referring people and just being active on the site.

True Or False: The More You Work The More You Earn?

When it comes to working from home its not just about the amount of work you do. Do you do
effective work? The real question comes down to a simple fact, effective, continuos work habits.
Don't get me wrong there is a lot of work involved in affiliate marketing, good work will come
with a plan of action though.

One thing that helps keep me motivated in what I am doing is remembering I am my own boss.
So I set when I want to work and for how long. And remember this is no hourly wage, in the
beginning it could take a while until you make any money, slowly but surely it should add up though.

I have researched programs and articles that at some point have a line that says “The more you work the more you earn” Well in some cases this is true but not always. A lot of hard work is involved when starting your journey into affiliate marketing. Remember though if what your doing is bad techniques or just really outdated your effort may be going nowhere.

In my experience the biggest problem I have faced and still do face on occasion is staying motivated. If your making no money it is very hard to stay motivated in what your doing. Deciding to be an affiliate marketer though is no get rich quick over night business by any means. To put it frank You need to know what you are doing!
I am not trying to add more stress but its true.

So how does one make sure that the time they put in their business turns profitable? This is what works for me:

Ok so the list is straight forward though I understand some of it may be hard to follow. So I am going to explain in more detail what I mean.

Following A Daily Task List - A daily task list does not always need to be wrote down infront of you, it could be in your head on typed into a word processor. Daily task is a key step to staying organized in your business. This list does not need to be full of what your going to do that day but task that should be done daily. Looking into new website content and traffic techniques are an example of daily task you should perform. Even if you need to spend a few hours researching, don’t worry about it! Even experienced marketers have days where they may need to compile research.

To help stay focused in what your doing, you could also create a monthly task list. The monthly list could just be a few things listed that you want to get done by the end of the month. Maybe you want to write an ebook or collect more information on something to help complete a project, whatever it be do not worry. A monthly short list of task is a good way to not get overloaded. And as you complete task you can cross them off the list.

Creating New Site Content On A Weekly Basis - When you create content for your website it doesn’t always have to be all out fancy. If you need to add some articles in a few places then do it! Google likes fresh content and if you can get into this habit more often the better! It does not mean you need to add 5 articles a day or anything, but just do it enough to keep readers coming back. Even if your readers are not buying anything off the site or clicking your ads or whatever, do not give up! If your website is screaming “CLICK ME or BUY FROM ME!” you may be in trouble. Some people don’t give a damn about some meaningless ads but others would have a fit and leave the site. Having some ads and whatever else is fine, just don’t fill the whole page with it. You want your content to stand out. Chances are whoever is looking at the blog is there to read it, not buy. Again though do not let this get you down. In time you will have people clicking your adsense or even buying things.

Using Effective Traffic Techniques - A problem that a lot of people are faced with in the beginning is traffic. Some people believe if they throw up the blog or website it is done and over with. Well it is not.... If you are making this website or blog into a business you need traffic. Just like a store needs customers. And over the internet its harder then in the offline world. If you are not spending money on a program or course that will teach you about affiliate marketing the best advice I can offer is researching. Research and join forums. If you research information on website traffic you will learn a lot. If you are unsure of something or have questions join a work from home forum and get answers!

A part of your daily task should be doing traffic generation techniques. Depending on what you are doing it should not take all day by any means. And with research and practice you will get better at it :)

Use A Planner Or Calendar To Keep Organized - If you want to be successful organization is more important than most people realize. Whatever works best for you will be the way to go. With a planner you have more room to write down stuff. With a calendar it seems much more appealing visually speaking. I like using a calendar only because I color in the days that I want to complete a goal or meet my own deadline. I find having a planner is also nice to though because there is more room to write and make notes. If you really want to save money I suggest just opening a blank page in your word processing program and writing down notes, goals and deadlines. To keep it simple you could bold important information, or get creative and use different colors for each task. Really this one is up to you. I say do what makes you feel comfortable.

Take A Day Off And Relax! - Although you may work less hours on certain days you still need a break here and there. I don’t mean a vacation but a day to yourself. Working at home on your online business means more time infront of the computer which is good and bad. Bad because sometimes you may spend to much time on it and good because, well you need the computer to do your work. I look at working from home as a stress free environment. To make sure it stays that way though I do take a break. I pick a random day and just do not work or login to check sales or anything. I have days like that because I don’t see the point in spending everyday working on my business. Some people may believe that is a wrong way to look at things but no one should spend all day working.

By following a few simple steps you can be sure to have good sessions working on your business. Like I said though this is a question that has true and false in its favor. Even if you work a lot you might not also earn enough. To be sure you can earn an almost daily income of some sort just follow some of my tips and know what you are doing!

I hope this article has helped any struggling affiliate marketers out there. I hope you do not feel to alone, I know what it is like to work very hard and get nothing out of it. Believe me though with some time and education on what you are doing, good things will come out of it.

Why It Is Important To Post New Content To Your Website/Blog

If we take a quick look at my blog here my last post was April 3rd, which means that for 2 whole months this blog has been stale and getting no traffic. Well some traffic but not much...

Its my fault of course, one reason was because of major computer problems but I have a new more faster computer with more room so this shouldn’t happen as much.

Going for weeks and months without posting is bad, and for me it is a habit from time to time. So why is it bad? Let me list some reasons...

1) It makes YOU look bad
2) The reader may think you’re a slacker
3) You will lose some readership
4) Less traffic for you

Well the list is short but I think you get the picture. I had no intention of leaving this blog but my computer was having a lot of problems with the amount of issues it had it made work hell for me. Now though things are good so I should be able to post more often.

I also was not doing much to the blog because I am planning on setting up a website. I may keep the blog active but once the website is up it will get more attention then the blog.

Here are a few reasons why it is important to keep our blogs updated

1) Shows dedication
2) Builds readership
3) Could help you find a blogging job
4) May build a fan base
5) Could help a person
6) It is fun!

And of course depending how your blog is set up and so on you could make some extra cash. There are people out there though who are blogging part time or full time and making a lot of money.

Blogs are a great place to start over building a website because they are free and easy to set up.

I just wanted to quickly outline the good and bad of not updating and such. Even I will admit whenever I go for weeks of ignoring a blog it just makes it for the blog gets less readers and of course looks bad.

Though it has been a while I wanted to update, more information will be coming soon :)

One thing affiliate marketers need is truth. Truth on traffic techniques that work and truth on on the fact that making money through affiliate marketing probably will not happen over night. To be honest I don't know anyone who has made money in this business their first day.

Do you know someone who has? Chances are you don't, and if you do then, wow thats all I have to say lol...

I have a video posted to my new youtube channel. In the video I talk about Profit Lance and I am logged into the members area just to show everyone I am a member of this program. I know a lot of people say if it cost money then it is a scam. That is not always true, remember that Profit Lance is not a job its a course that teaches you how to make money online. Most of the course teaches you free methods and also has information on paid methods. I wouldn't hold that against this course though, lots of affiliate's have a little advertising budget set up for their busniess.

Do Data Entry Jobs From Home Exist?

Yes, they do but they are hard to find. If you research data entry you can probably find a few genuine websites but a lot of them are sites asking for a fee.

Keep in mind that websites asking for a fee are not all scams... Quite a few them teach you PPC as data entry. I can understand why a newbie may not want to get involved in PPC, being new it can be hard to understand!

Don’t worry though I was able to come across some good websites. I am going to be honest I applied to one of the websites listed and and never heard anything back. Other people have said these sites do hire and such though. Some of them are not hiring though, but I still will post them, they could hire at a later time.

Why Do People Fail At Affiliate Marketing?

- Stressed
- Confused
- Overwhelmed
- Lazy
- Not knowing the market

It may seem scary but it is true. Tons of people come in, learn a little then leave, some come in learn and get confused and quit the small percent make it...

I know because it happened to me. Let me share my story...

Many months ago I started affiliate marketing in hopes to never have to work for someone again. I didn’t want the 9 - 5 shift job, I did not want to hate what I was doing, I wanted to make more money than what I was making. My dream was to make enough money to make my business better, buy a car, buy a house eventually. Those were dreams that I had and still have even!

The biggest problem I faced is that I was unemployed when I started working at home. I quit my job which was working at a call center I couldn’t deal with it anymore it was killing me inside. I found the job very stressful and most of the customers were very unhappy and half the time we couldn’t do much for them. This went on for 2 years and 4 months then I put in my 2 week notice and left.

Prior to me quitting I had been studying work at home information, this is how I learned about affiliate marketing. A big problem came though, I started thinking like the website I had been reading which was promoting a product. The website tried to say you hardly had to work and could make loads of money. Well that never happened... I did what it said to do and nothing went right. Eventually I forgot about affiliate marketing and got addicted to world of warcraft and pretty much avoided all social contact for a few months. When I lost all my savings I came back to try and do affiliate marketing but failed again because of distractions.

After the last failed attempt I stayed away for a couple months then came back and since then I stayed. All it took me to do was cut out distractions and change my thinking. Now I am very productive :)

The best advice I can give is to learn and make a list. Make a list of your interest/hobbies and somehow promote what you know and believe in. The easiest thing you can do for yourself is that. And of course learn. Do not overwhelm yourself but learn what you can. If you ever get lost or confused join a forum. I am a member of more than one forum and in my time of need I asked for help and got good results in return. If you want you can even buy a course that teaches you affiliate marketing. I wouldn’t rush into that though, first off just research and study. There is a lot of free information online and courses that will teach you the basics.

So as you can see by my list there are tons of ways to fail but there is prevention and help at most affiliate marketing/work at home forums. Stay tuned, my next blog post will be about: How To Prevent Affiliate Failure.

I just wanted to let my readers know this blog has not been updated recently because of me signing up to GDI. I have been investing most of time and attention into the training and building my .ws website. I have not forgot about this blog though, which I plan to start working on it once that website is built.

I plan on updating my GPT list too.

I still have a lot of content to add to this blog, I just have not done the rest yet because of other things going on. I have some videos I plan to share too. I have the videos already done, I just need to set the youtube channel up.

When I was researching ways to make money online I learned about surveys and then PTC sites. I had no clue what the heck PTC meant until I read more about it. By being a member and signing in often to these sites and completing offers, surveys, paid to click, etc you can earn money quickly. How much money you can make will depend on the website and what they pay. The least amount of money to be earned seems to be in reading emails and clicking ads, however those pennies and other cents add up.

Honestly you might as well say PTC is the poor mans way to making a dollar, same goes for some survey sites. The thing is though clicking on a few websites is a piece of cake and easy to do, you only earn a few cents usually for doing this task but it adds up. These days lots of sites have low minimum payout option as well. The best thing you can do though is get tons of referrals. The common setup I see is you can earn a certain percent of what the your referrals earn, not to bad? If you decide to try out PTC though be sure to check and see if there are any referral options on the sites you are using.

Chances are if you want to do surveys or PTC for extra cash then you probably were just trying to find out how to make money online, well this is a way that does work. I have visited sites and forums where members apparently have made anywhere from $200.00 - $1000.00 dollars a month. I have never made it that far yet, but it would be nice.

Now I don’t only participate in these sites though. I also do affiliate marketing and soon I am hoping to try selling articles. I don’t put my eggs in one basket, its not worth it! PTC and survey sites are rainy day cash to me, that is why I do them. I don’t expect to get rich off these sites, I am confident I won’t. I only invest little time on these sites when I feel like going to them.

So that is my personal reason, it is easy work, filling out surveys is time consuming but doing the PTC is quick, easy and even if it is cents the site is handing out, it does add up. At some point I will try and add post proof of payment and stuff, I have not reached the payment threshold with some websites so I cannot get payment yet, and others where I can get payment I have not sent the money to my paypal yet. I just wanted to share with everyone my honest reason though as to why I bother with PTC and surveys.
